Although the Randolph Lawson Society was formally organized only three months before the end of the contest year, the Society received an Honorable Mention Certificate awarded at the National Convention. The National Merit Award recognizes accomplishments, activities, and hard work of the most outstanding societies in the C.A.R. The certificate was presented to the Randolph Lawson Society by the State President at the Society's Flag Day Picnic.
